I am the Partner and sole solicitor at CDA Law. My main focus is family law, specifically relating to disputes around contact and residence arrangements for children.

I have worked as a lawyer at some of the oldest law firms in Scotland, where I gained a great deal of experience. My law career began in civil Court work in family law, including divorce and child contact cases. I also acted for clients in debt recovery cases, interdicts and Guardianships.
I then spent three years specialising in personal injury law, dealing with minor road traffic accidents, employer’s liability cases and high value clinical negligence claims. I continue to act for clients in personal injury cases today.
Upon opening CDA Law, dealt with a variety of areas of law. However, I soon realised my priority was in disputes relating to children, which are now primarily the cases I deal with.
Based in Inverness and covering the whole of the Highlands
After moving to the Highlands, it become apparent that not all clients have the ability to attend a law office in Inverness, which can sometimes be many miles from home, in order to instruct a solicitor. In fact, many clients prefer not to attend a law office at all and would rather meet with a solicitor remotely.
When I am not at work, I spend my time carrying out DIY, travelling and working my way through the Munros (although it’s been a while!).
